Love Story: Brianna + Paul
Everyone is ready to start traveling again and the anticipation is killing us! As travel restrictions lessen, people are packing their bags and finding their passports. With all this excitement we just had to give away another DREAM HONEYMOON during our Exclusive Designer Event! Brianna and Paul are the lucky couple who won this incredible holiday and they cannot wait to start planning their adventure. First, let’s go back to 2017 when their love story began.
How and when did the two of you meet?
Paul and I met online in January of 2017. Then, we met up for our first date at Flint for a few cocktails. We hit it off right away and were talking constantly after that, so we decided to get together for a second date, and then a third, and then a fourth...and the rest is history!
What do the two of you do for fun?
We love going to the dog park with our chocolate lab, Harlow. He always keeps us entertained. We enjoy finding new experiences, including; flying in a floatplane, canoeing, or finding new museums and art galleries. Paul likes to cook, I like to bake, and we both like to eat! Also, we always have tons of fun going to movies, concerts, and Roughrider games.
Tell us about the proposal.
Paul and I went for a walk by the river in the evening, and we sat down on a bench to enjoy the view for a bit. After a while, Paul reached into his pocket and I thought he brought a snack to share, and was momentarily disappointed when I realized that he did not, in fact, have a granola bar. Quickly, the feeling of disappointment turned into excitement when I realized it was a ring! I don't remember what exactly he said, but I obviously said "yes"!
What do you love about your engagement ring?
I love all of the tiny details of the ring and how you can see the craftsmanship and care that went into making it. Also, I love the "hidden diamonds" on the bottom of the band that only the wearer knows about. Most importantly, I love that it's the ring Paul picked out for me!
Where are you planning to go on your DREAM HONEYMOON?
We don't have any plans yet, but we're definitely leaning towards somewhere in Europe! We love to eat and explore new places, so Europe seems like the best place to go! I have lots of family that live all across Europe and I would love to visit them. Also, they will be able to recommend the best attractions and sights to see, so I'm sure wherever we go we'll have an amazing adventure!
