Everything's All White

Everything's All White

Traditionally, wearing an all-white ensemble to a wedding was a major faux-pas.  White and ivory should be left for the bride — and that still holds true today.  However, the all-white wedding has been gaining major popularity – especially destination weddings.  So, since we’ve had this rule of decorum engrained in us, what do you wear when the bride and groom actually request that all guests wear white attire to their wedding ceremony and reception?

-       Remember that the all-white theme is all encompassing – this doesn’t mean simply a white shirt with khaki pants and brown shoes

-       Do stick to the dress code or at the very least step out of photos if you chose to wear a bright, loud print

-       Choose a white ensemble that you will wear again

-       Embrace separates so that you’re more likely to wear again

-       Dress according to venue – destination weddings are obviously much more relaxed than one at an up-scale locale

-       Add texture – a beaded clutch, layered pearls or strappy sandals will add interest to your all-white look

-       If you must include color, add a wash of color with a bold lip

Tiara chose a stunning white lace dress, beaded clutch andadded interest with diamond drop earrings, diamond tennis bracelets and a breathtaking Henri Daussi ring.
