Calling All Tacori Girls!

Calling All Tacori Girls!

Our All Tacori Weekend is just over two weeks away, and we're so exctied to bring all things Tacori to Saskatoon! We'd like to introduce you to two of our very own #TacoriGirls, who are probably some of the biggest Tacori fans out there.  Read on to hear all about why they love Tacori, and why you don't want to miss out on this amazing event.

Meet #TacoriGirl Jess

Jess has been a customer at GMG since she saw a friend wearing "the most GORGEOUS earrings" about three years ago. After that, she couldn't stay away! She is the proud mom to four kids, self proclaimed "step monster" to four more, and loves having a grandbaby "thrown in for good measure." Jess has an undying love for the collision repair industry, and in her spare time plays volleyball, reads books, and generally enjoys anything that keep her out of the office.

How would you describe your jewellery style?

Style and I are never used in the same sentence (she says with a laugh). If I had to choose, I guess it would be more of a classic style.

What was your first piece of Tacori Jewellery?

My first piece from Tacori was actually a set... gorgeous Island Rains drop earrings, a ring, and a necklace. It was kind of a "I have my own paycheque and I do what I want" type of purchase - a gift to me, from me!

You are clearly a lady who knows how to treat herself. What is your favourite thing about Tacori?

I think my favourite thing about Tacori is that you have so many choices. When you're building your piece and choosing settings and stones it's like a choose your own adventure!

What is the most treasured piece in your Tacori collection?

My favourite piece to date are these absolutely beautiful Colour Medley drop earrings. I love them so much! Two of my girlfriends have the same earrings, and every time I saw them wearing them I was so jealous - so I had to get them for myself!

What is the best part of attending the All Tacori Weekend?

I think I've been to two shows at GMG and mostly come for the snacks (she laughs), but seriously I have found some absolutely stunning ring settings at the last one and brought my Wishlist to a whole new level! It's wonderful to see all of the pieces in person... and of course try them all on!

Meet #TacoriGirl Megan

Megan has been a customer at GMG for the past three years, and is no stranger to In Bloom - we shared her and fiance Ryan's engagement story back in July. When she's not brokering insurance in Prince Albert, she spends time with her friends and family any chance that she gets - usually with a good glass of wine in hand - and enjoys weekend getaways to other cities for good dining and shopping.

How would you describe your jewellery style?

I always go for a timeless look. However, depending on the occasion or event, I go back and forth between delicate or bold and chunky.

What was your first piece of Tacori jewellery?

My first piece of Tacori jewellery was my engagement ring! Not only does it have such an important meaning in my life, but it also was such an amazing experience picking it out! Tacori had so many options that I LOVED, but when it came down to it I went with a timeless custom Simply Tacoriyellow gold setting. It is a  has small detailed diamonds from the side view leading up to my solitaire. It made me so happy that day and still does every morning I put it on.

An engagement ring is the perfect way to start your Tacori collection. What would you say is the best thing about Tacori?

IMG_7780.jpg

I love many things about Tacori jewellery! My favourite thing would probably be all the detail. No matter what view you are looking at the piece of jewellery from, there is some view of detail you can enjoy. I also love that there is something for anyone and any style - even the guys.

Have you chosen a favourite piece from your Tacori Collection?

That's a tough one! It will forever be between my engagement ring  and my wedding band. But I think today I will go with my wedding band. The way it sparkles and the Petite Crescent details I get to see when I am typing away all day at work always amazes me. I know it is a piece I will love forever!

What advice would you give to someone about attending the Tacori show at GMG Jewellers?

I find GMG really goes above and beyond at all times, but even more so for the shows they host. It is nice to be able to see some items that might not always be available to view at GMG - even though they always seem to have a great selection. Unfortunately, I will not be attending the show this year as I'm getting married at the end of the month, and plan to be away with my new husband! I am sad I will have to miss it, but don't plan to miss the next one!

Jess and Meghan truly love their Tacori, and we can't say we blame them. If you love Tacori as much as they do, or just want to check it out and start your Wishlist, come by GMG Jewellers on May 11th & 12th. Book an appointment today by calling or texting us at 306-665-8463, or emailing gmgjewellers@gmail.com. You don't want to wait, because the First 40 Appointments will receive $100 in Tacori Journeys Travel Vouchers to be used towards any destination of your choice. Come for the jewellery and get some free travel? That's not even the best part! During the Tacori Weekend you won't pay tax on ANY Tacori purchase you make.

XO In Bloom
