The 4 Best Winter Wedding Favours

The 4 Best Winter Wedding Favours

Your wedding favours are that final cherry on top for your wedding. They aren’t a must by any means, but they are a great gesture in thanking your guests for attending. However, you want to make sure your guests can actually use and want your wedding favour. You also have to keep in mind what season you are getting married in; a bunch of potted succulents may be cute, but it is not going to work if you get married in January when its -30°C outside. We are going to go through our top four favours for a winter wedding.

Blankets

Blankets are amazing wedding favours for a winter wedding. Your guests can use them both during the wedding as well as after the weddings over. You can never have too many blankets. You can go as simple or extravagant as you want with this favour. On the simple end of the spectrum, you could go with blankets that are in your wedding colour palette. To go extravegant with this favour, you could order blankets that either have a picture of the two of you on the blanket or have your initials embroidered on the blanket. There are often leftover wedding favours, and with blankets, you can take any that weren’t taken to a local shelter as a donation.

Hot Beverages

It’s chilly in the winter, everyone likes to warm up with a hot beverage. There are multiple avenues you could go with this favour; either hot chocolate mix, coffee beans or loose leaf tea. Pick a drink that reflects you as a couple; if neither of you drink coffee, don’t go with coffee beans. You can also get quite punny with your favours by putting little tags on them that say “Let love brew.” Also if there are any leftover, you have something to keep you warm for the rest of the winter!

Candles

There is just something so magical about candles in the winter. You can “Ignite your love” with this phenomenal wedding favour. You can either buy scented candles in a fragrance you both love and put custom stickers on them or make them from scratch with a one of a kind scent that is uniquely you with a customized jar. Everyone loves candles so this favour will be a crowd-pleaser!
