How long have you been working at GMG Jewellers?
I have been working at GMG Jewellers for seven awesome months and have been enjoying expanding my jewellery knowledge during this time.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is taking my clients' dream piece and turning it into reality with my imagination and artistic vision. I enjoy reworking a customer's piece by sketching, changing the design and giving jewellery with great sentiment, a fresh, new and unique look. I really enjoy the entire process.
GMG Jewellers is in the heart of DTNYXE, what's your favourite local shop?
My favourite downtown shop is The Gallery/Art Placement inc. I love to visit and check out art pieces, get to know new artists, and support a thriving local business.
What's your favourite gemstone?
My favourite gemstone is a Brown diamond. I especially love the cognac shade as it's one of my favorite colors and it looks gorgeous with any skin tone.
It's pretty interesting, Cognac diamonds are distinctly Australian and like their pink cousins, are mined in the Argyle mine in Western Australia.
Halo or no halo?
It really depends on the ring. Some are enhanced with a halo, while others shine bright on their own.
What's your personal style?
My style is artistic. I love to look different.
Do you have a coveted item you're currently wishing for?
My most coveted item is the Aerial Eclipse pendant from Hearts On Fire and the most breathtaking Zeghani Nature Lover wedding band.
