Feature Friday: APRIL

Feature Friday: APRIL

Welcome to Feature Fridays - a weekly spotlight featuring our cherished staff members. Today, we're getting to know the entertaining and intelligent, April.  Full of facts and lots of laughs, she's always one to know her product as well as what's trending around us.

How long have you been working at GMG Jewellers?  I have been working at GMG Jewellers for over two years now.

What's the most rewarding part about working at GMG?  The most rewarding part of my job is my brag book of proposal photos from all my wonderful clients.  Their love stories are unique and so beautiful.

GMG Jewellers is in the heart of downtown Saskatoon.  Let us know your favourite local downtown activity.  I love the charcuterie and cocktails at Flint, followed by a live performance at Persephone Theater.

What's your favourite gemstone? Diamonds always, but for something a little more unique, Rutilated Quartz.

Rutilated Quartz is one of the few gemstones desirable because of its inclusions. This gives it a special allure and desirability as a unique gemstone type. Rutilated Quartz exists mainly in colorless, transparent Quartz, although a brown, smoky Rutilated Quartz also exists but is less common. Other color varieties of Quartz are rarely if ever encountered in rutilated form.

What’s your favourite coloured metal? I love rose gold but lately, I’ve really been into yellow gold - especially in a bright 18 karat.

Your personal style: My personal style is ever changing but I'm really loving vintage styles right now.

Your most coveted item: he Hearts on Fire Aerial triple diamond necklace and of course, a custom Noam Carver Engagement ring

April's coveted Hearts On Fire Aerial pendant.
