All the Colours of a Wedding
Aw, wedding season. We all love a good wedding; with love is in the air, and the gorgeous, summer sun illuminating a wonderful bride and groom and their love for each other, what’s not to enjoy? With summer wedding season nearly over we can see three common trends in colour palettes that were chosen this season. All the colour palettes have two distinct colour groups paired together, jewel tones and soft hues. We are going to go though all of this season’s most popular colours!
The colours that fall under this grouping are navy, burgundy, and plum. These are rich colours that evoke passion, which is just what you need at a wedding. These colours are flattering on many skin tones, making them ideal colour choices for a wedding. These colours are also great alternatives to black for the groom and groomsmen’s suits.
Blush, slate, and sage, are soft hues that are showing up in many weddings. They give off that romantic element that’s perfect for any wedding. Delicate colours like these complement jewel tones perfectly as they off-set the passion with their air of romance.
Navy and blush is a deeply romantic palette. The softened tones of this palette let the couples love shine.
Plum and sage add an air of whimsy to any wedding. The colours pull from nature, giving them a tranquil feel.
Burgundy and slate are a deep and sensual pairing. They add a glamorous element to any wedding.
Every colour palette adds a different element to the atmosphere of the wedding. Whether you want glamorous or whimsical, your wedding will be full of love! We are sad that this summer’s wedding season is almost over, but we are excited to see what next year’s brides select for their colours! We hope that everyone that got married this summer had a day that was everything they ever wanted!
