The calendar year has almost come to an end and we're looking forward to ringing in the most bright and wonderful New Year yet. But before we say so long to 2016, we're taking a look back on the lovely details that we were so fortunate to share. Our customers declared their love, models showcased beloved gems, fresh new designers were welcomed and we admired some of the most beautiful collections of wedding inspiration out there.

NO ORDINARY LOVE Our customers embody love - big love. The kind that you see in a rom-com and can hardly imagine it actually existing. Welp, it certainly does. Our fun loving couples shared their stories with us - everything from the sweetest proposal details to discussing their wedding plans and showcasing photos of their big day - we just loved featuring them. WELL HELLO PERFECTION We welcomed the arrival of The World's Most Perfectly Cut Diamond in the fall of 2016, and our showroom has never shone brighter. We are absolutely thrilled to bring this immaculate line to Saskatoon and we take great pride in being the exclusive dealer of Hearts On Fire for the province of Saskatchewan.

AND THE WINNER IS..... We love giveaways and our year was bursting with them - from Apple watches to the Tacori Win Your Wishlist, we just loved treating our customers. Our biggest contest of the year had to be our $10,000 1 carat custom designed Noam Carver ring giveaway. Our winner, Chandra, teamed up with Canadian award-winning jewellery designer, Noam Carver, and together they designed the most stunning ring complete with pave diamonds and milgrain etching. Congratulations to you, Chandra!

WISHIN' AND HOPIN'.... Jewels of brilliant diamonds and precious metals topped our lists this year and there were no shortage of wishes made by our customers. We shared curated flat-lays of our favourite gifts to give throughout the seasons and composed our very own wish-lists full of beauties from our beloved top designers. Everything was coming up roses in 2016 - we we're hung up on rose gold - and for good reason. This pretty pink metal casts a beautiful warmth and mixes with other metals nicely.

ALL THE FASHION Beautiful local models showcased their favourite gems from GMG and impressive looks from local retailers. We just couldn't get enough. Style chameleons, Mandy, MC and Tiara rocked a variety of fashion forward looks that were sure to inspire. Keep an eye out for fresh fashion features in the New Year.

INSPIRATION ADORATION Our Pinterest boards were buzzing with genius hacks, breathtaking bling and wedding day musings. A collection of the most striking images left us dreaming of delightful destination weddings and carefully planning beautiful bridal shower bashes. We hope our inspiration sparked some creativity in you too.

FAB COLLABS We were fortunate enough to collaborate with some of the finest local professionals, vendors and taste-makers this year. From a Trash the Dress feature to showcasing RSVP's top events and everything lovely in-between, we thank you! We look forward to beautiful new collaborations in the coming year!
